We offer high-quality services in romantic surroundings with an amazing view over the Bend of the Danube. You can choose to make your vow among the ancient walls of the Citadel, at the Solomon Tower overlooking the Danube, or on the terrace of Nagyvillám Restaurant.

Our event halls:
The building of Nagyvillám Restaurant is constructed in a format of two main sections, with separate entrances, terraces and kitchens.
The halls downstairs are decorated in various styles, our exclusive hall upstairs is for a modern taste. Both floors have a gorgeous view to the Citadel and the Danube.
Our restaurant is located in the heart of the Duna-Ipoly National Park, which guarantees the privacy for a night-long wedding party.

We can provide you with snow-white chair covers for the restaurant chairs.
There is no way to use your own chair cover.

BIRD HALL
(max: 90 people)
This hall recalls a truly rennaissance atmosphere.
The split-level arrangement of the room provides a special view for the guests seated there. It has exits to two of our terraces, which ensures ventillation in hot summer evenings.
The dance floor may be outside on the terrace if the weather is good, if not, the party may take place in the Panorama and Vadász (Hunter) halls.
PANORAMA AND HUNTER ROOM
(Max: 30-30 people)
Panorama room is an intimate, elegant hunter design room with beautiful panorama to the Danube and hills. We have a fireplace there that may brings romantic mood to your event during wintertime.
Close to the room we have a little playground corner where kinds can enjoy the time during the event.
The Hunter room is next to the Panorama room and has the similar design. You can use the two rooms separately or together.
Both rooms has terrace connection.
VISEGRÁD ROOM
(max. 35 people)
Visegrád room is in the middle of our restaurant with modern, wine focused design. Best choice for a modern, little wedding where you can taste Hungarian wine specialities in a wine tresor spirit.
This room directly connected to our grill terrace, where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama to the castle.
MÁTYÁS ROOM
(max. 90 people)
The Mátyás room has a Hungarian, traditional design for bigger weddings. The speciality of this room is the living tree in the middle of the room builted into the building itself and the lot of stone decoration.
The view is located to the green field behind the restaurant. This room brings you the ground floor resturant feeling, well known around Budapest as beer or wine catacombs.
GRILL TERRACE
(for max. 50 people seated, max 130 people standing)
This terrace embraced by the nature that will remind you to the american style weddings. From spring to autum we have continously flowering and green plants around here that highlight the beauty of the caste view.
We have a grill kitchen here that can be hide during the ceremony, but can be used as open kitchen show during the event to serve fresh food.
EXCUSIVE PRIVATE ROOM
(max. 130 people)
This Exclusive private area provides you the modern design builted in 2007 for the 20th annyversary of the restaurant.
Solid, modern and panorama area that is complately separated from the other parts of the restaurant.
This area has a separated entrance close to the Panorama terrace. The exclusive privite room also has a breathtaking panorama from the private terrace as well to the Danube and to the hills.
Ceremony venues
Our Resturant located right next to the citadel in Visegrád, the old capital city of Hungary. Thanks to the unique location we can provide a fantastic wedding ceremony places in our restaurant or close around.
We provide our services not only in the restaurant, but during an outside wedding ceremony as well.
During the wedding vows, we offer welcome drinks, sweet and savory pastries and congratulate with champaign.
GRILL TERRACE
From our terrace you have a beautiful view of the Danube and the Citadel.

We follow the world\’s trend in our kitchen beside the Hungarian tastes. You can find the international menus for a mixed weddings too.
Our master chef, Limbert János, ensure that your special guests will remember the culinary meals including finest meat, game, poultry and fish, locally-grown vegetables and creative desserts.
We use quality ingredients to reach the best flavour with locally-grown, bio spices from our garden in front of the restaurant.

BOR ÉS PEZSGŐ
Az esküvői vacsorát – igény esetén – kiváló hazai, palackozott borok ízeivel tesszük még teljesebbé. Bor és pezsgő behozatala esetén 700,- Ft / üveg vagy liter felszolgálási díjat számolunk fel.
RÖVIDITAL BEHOZATAL
Amennyiben az italokat Önök szeretnék biztosítani, akkor a szakszerű felszolgálásról gondoskodunk, illetve lehetőséget adunk röviditalok behozatalára 1.000,- Ft/fő dugódíj áron. Szertartás utáni koccintáshoz a pezsgő behozható, 500,- Ft/ üveg felszolgálási díj ellenében.

Information about marriage in Hungary
According to Hungarian law, only civil marriages are legally valid in Hungary. The religious ceremony is optional and has no legal status.
The legal age for getting married in Hungary is 18 years.
A civil marriage, performed according to the laws of Hungary, is generally recognised in other countries. This should be checked with the relevant authorities of the country in question.
Marriage Requirements: one of the couple must be resident in Hungary for at least 30 days before the wedding can take place.
First, the couple must visit or call the local registry office (Anyakönyvvezetői Hivatal) where they wish to get married, in order to obtain a permit. It is advisable to start the procedure about 60 days before the planned ceremony so that the arrangements can be completed by the Hungarian authorities.
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE NEEDED:
- Valid passport or ID card (személyazonosító igazolvány), and address card (lakcímkártya) (for Hungarian residents).
- Document certifying the place of residence.
- Certificate of No Impediment to Marry (for foreigners - this can be obtained from the embassy/consulate of the foreigner\'s home country) or Certificate of Marital Status (családi állapot igazolás) for Hungarians.
- Full birth certificate (születési anyakönyvi kivonat) with the parents\' names on it.
- Copy of the decree absolute (bontóperi ítélet) if divorced.
- Death certificate if widowed.
- Additional documents may be required depending on the nationality of each of the future spouses.
The documents must be translated into Hungarian by the Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation (Országos Fordító és Fordítás-hitelesítő Intézet – OFFI). No other translation company is acceptable. All documents must have an Apostille stamp.

The registrar must establish whether the marriage is in compliance with the Hungarian rule of law, as it must be valid on the basis of the laws of the home countries of both parties.
The couple should also decide if they wish to change their name before the ceremony and what family name their future children will have, as the registrar has to decide if it is possible.
Notice of Marriage
Some Embassies require that a Notice of Marriage is displayed at least 21 days prior to the marriage. Check with the relevant consulate or embassy in Hungary.

Foglalás, fizetés menete
Jelen írásbeli tájékoztató nem minősül a Ptk. 211.§-a szerinti ajánlatnak. Erre tekintettel a felek közötti jogviszonyt (terem-, étkezés-, időpont foglalás stb.) csak és kizárólag a mindkét fél által aláírt eseti megállapodás, foglaló befizetése hozza létre.
A megjelölt dátum foglalása foglaló befizetésével történik, melyet az Ifjú Pár azaz a Megbízó ad kötelezettségvállalása jeléül.
Ezt az összeget Megbízó a megadott opciós dátumig tartozik megfizetni.
Ennek elmulasztása esetén a Nagyvillám Panoráma Étterem Kft. a szerződéstől / megrendeléstől jogkövetkezmények nélkül elállhat.
Végelszámolás a rendezvény napján történik. Végelszámoláskor a foglalóval csökkentett, (esetlegesen a helyszínen, a rendezvény ideje alatt igényelt és egyeztetett egyéb szolgáltatás díjával emelt) különbözetét fizeti meg. Fizetés kizárólag készpénzben történhet.
Lemondás esetén a befizetett foglaló nem kerül visszafizetésre.
A Nagyvillám étterem munkatársai segítenek a szertartás szervezésében, szolgáltatók ajánlásában, azonban külső vállalkozók szolgáltatásai után felelősséget nem vállalunk.
5 napon belüli létszámmódosítás esetén az előzetesen megadott létszám 10 százaléka mondható le kötbérmentesen, ezen felüli lemondott vagy igénybe nem vett szolgáltatás esetén az előzetesen megrendelt létszámmal számított teljes összeg fizetendő.
